One notable partnership is with Intel. IBM and Intel have a long history of collaboration on data and AI products. Together, we have worked on projects such as AI acceleration with IBM Watson NLP Library for Embed with OneAPI and the optimization of IBM Db2 on Intel Xeon platforms. The latest collaboration, watsonx.data, combines IBM’s built-in accelerators with Intel’s open-source query engines to provide rapid and reliable data processing for high-performance SQL querying, reporting, business intelligence, and machine learning.
According to an Intel representative, “We look forward to partnering with IBM to optimize the watsonx.data stack, achieving breakthrough performance through our joint technological contributions to the Presto open-source community.”
In addition to the Intel partnership, we will release new partner stories throughout the season, including interviews with leaders from Deloitte, TD SYNNEX, and other companies. The series will encompass partners from across the IBM Ecosystem.
