Robinhood’s Shiba Inu (SHIB) wallets have experienced an extraordinary surge, accumulating 231 billion tokens within a span of just 24 hours. This surge, as reported by Arkham Intelligence data, has brought Robinhood’s SHIB holdings to a significant 36.684 trillion tokens, signaling a remarkable increase driven by growing investor interest.
This surge in SHIB accumulation on Robinhood is a clear reflection of the escalating interest among investors in the cryptocurrency. It mirrors broader trends in the market, including substantial whale activities and strategic partnerships within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
SHIB Accumulation on Robinhood
Robinhood, a popular commission-free trading platform, has been in the spotlight due to its substantial accumulation of Shiba Inu tokens. In just one day, the platform’s SHIB wallet saw a massive increase of 231 billion tokens. These exchange wallets symbolize the holdings of users, signifying a significant surge in SHIB accumulation by investors on the Robinhood platform. Additionally, cryptocurrency whales have also played a crucial role, with one whale moving a staggering 136.8 billion tokens to a newly created wallet on the exchange.
The surge in Shiba Inu accumulation on Robinhood coincides with a community-driven burn event, which saw the incineration of 9.35 billion SHIB tokens, marking a remarkable 28,600% increase in the burn rate. Last month, the community sent 8.6 billion SHIB tokens for permanent deletion, representing an astounding 160,598% increase from the previous day’s burn rate, showcasing a dynamic market environment for Shiba Inu.
Recent Shiba Inu Partnerships
The surge in SHIB holdings is not occurring in isolation, but rather ties into Shiba Inu’s strategic initiatives. A noteworthy partnership with domain firm D3 Global has empowered users to acquire SHIB domain names. This collaboration positions Shiba Inu as one of the pioneering decentralized projects pursuing a top-level domain name through the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). This partnership is in line with the rising burn rate trend within the Shiba Inu community.
